Job Responsibilities
We're looking for a Field Operations Surveyor Intern who is detailed oriented and is interested in geospatial and mapping software who will be responsible for conducting virtual surveys of on-street location selection of Automotus sensors. This role is remote and on an hourly basis.

The Field Ops Remote Surveyor will be responsible for desk-surveying Automotus’ various product deployments using Streetview and other GIS tools.

Qualify loading zones for monitoring by applying the Automotus Optical Sensor model to proposed zone locations.

Offer alternatives to hardware placement when the model does not fit location(s).

Manage hardware inventory in multiple locations, keeping data as current as possible.

Familiarity with Google Earth and other geolocation tools such as BatchGeo, QGIS, and ArcGIS preferred.

Improve desk survey process by offering suggestions to boost efficiency and reduce delivery time of completed desk surveys.
