Turin, Italy launches Automotus curb management platform

Automotus will be working closely with the city of Turin, the EU's most polluted city, to provide detailed multimodal analytics and help them manage their highly sought-after curb space.

5T, Turin's mobility management group, has provided Automotus access to their cameras around the city to analyze traffic and curb activity across the following forms of mobility:

  • taxis

  • buses

  • ride hailing

  • delivery services

  • passenger vehicles

In addition to monitoring curb activity to provide frameworks to craft sustainable policies, Automotus will also be identifying parking violations and notifying personnel on the ground––this will be specifically targeted at double-parking and passenger vehicles parking in commercial loading zones.
